Seriously, making the Miata a rolling joke was one of the best things I could have ever done to a beat up thrice-wrecked old Miata. I’ve gotten more compliments and waves in the last few days than I did in the several months I had it before “the wreck”. It’s great, and extremely derisive. Some people like the wrap, some people don’t understand it at all. Most people love the mirrors. Most people don’t “get” the wheels, some people think it’s awesome. My coworker came up to me and told me of this exchange:
“woah, there’s a Miata with orange wheels.”
“Sounds like Jake. Yup, it’s Jake.”
“Oh, you know that guy?”
“...no.”

Yeah. I might try finding some wide-angle glass. Or something. The mirrors in there seem to actually be magnifying, which is the opposite of what I want.

If you look in the top right corner of the engine bay you can see one of the horns.
This is what $500 gets you. Push button start, too. Because racecar and the previous owner "lost the keys"
